I was actually super excited to do this art project because it just seemed like it would be a lot of fun, and it was. I went to the Belmont Shore Beach just because it was the closest beach from where I was and started this project around 4-5 pm. I decided to put my hand in a fist because I thought it would be easier than just my hand stretched out. I didn’t want any fingers to be broken off, so the idea of just the fist was good enough for me. When I first mixed the plaster and the water, the consistency was so thin and liquid that I added more of the dry plaster. After the mixture got a little more thick like buttermilk, I poured it into the sand. I waited 20-30 minutes and dug it up. The plaster actually molded almost perfectly, but in the picture I took it looked like kind of a blob. This was very fun and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
A girl who fell to her death-
This photo was fun yet embarrassing to do. My friend went to the second floor and took this photo of me with an angled birds eye view. I chose a location with a dark floor so that when I “fell” to my death I would stand out more. When laying on the floor, it was funny at first, but it made me realize how high and painful it must have been if someone actually jumped from the second story.
