I was actually super excited to do this art project because it just seemed like it would be a lot of fun, and it was. I went to the Belmont Shore Beach just because it was the closest beach from where I was and started this project around 4-5 pm. I decided to put my hand in a fist because I thought it would be easier than just my hand stretched out. I didn’t want any fingers to be broken off, so the idea of just the fist was good enough for me. When I first mixed the plaster and the water, the consistency was so thin and liquid that I added more of the dry plaster. After the mixture got a little more thick like buttermilk, I poured it into the sand. I waited 20-30 minutes and dug it up. The plaster actually molded almost perfectly, but in the picture I took it looked like kind of a blob. This was very fun and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
